How it works
APOTHECA turns your thoughts into a connected graph you can search, extend, and ask questions about.
01
The home screen
When you open APOTHECA, you see a single input. Type a thought or a question, then press Enter. Clicking the APOTHECA title takes you directly to your graph.

Projects, clusters, and nodes
Your graph starts with a single YOU node at the center. Projects branch off it. Inside each project, clusters group related nodes together. Nodes are the atomic units: people, tasks, ideas, files, and notes.

03
Adding nodes to the graph
Right-click anywhere on the canvas to open the context menu. Select a node type and it attaches to the nearest project or cluster. Projects attach directly to YOU.
04
The agent
The sidebar is a conversation with APOTHECA. You can tell it to create nodes, attach files, reorganize clusters, or ask questions about your graph. Attach files with the paperclip icon — the agent reads them, extracts the key concepts, and can build an entire node graph from the contents automatically.
Here are my research notes from the last two weeks. Organize these into my graph.
I've read through all three files and built a node graph from them. Created 2 new clusters — "April Experiments" and "Team Sync" — with 9 nodes across them: 3 people, 2 tasks, 2 ideas, and 2 file references, all under your Research project.

What ideas do I have related to Dr. Chen's work?
You have one idea connected to that area: "New ML approach," which is crosslinked to "Key insight on priors" in your Reading list cluster.
